Board of Trustees

The Deerfield-Bannockburn Fire Protection District is governed by a board of trustees. The board is made up of three trustees appointed by the Lake County Board, each serving a staggered three year term. While the fire chief is tasked with managing the day-to-day operations, the board of trustees is ultimately responsible for the entirety of district business.

The board of trustees generally meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 P.M. at the district headquarters fire station #20 which is located at 500 Waukegan Road, Deerfield, IL 60015. All board of trustees meetings are open to the public.
